About Snow Road
Snow Road takes the idea behind Snow Rider 3D and rebuilds it out of blocks. The trees, cabins and rock walls all have a voxel look, and the sled is a stack of chunky orange planks. You ride from just behind the sled down a wide snowy road, with a meter counter in the top right corner and your gifts in the top left.
After the title screen, a wooden board shows your best score and number of plays. Pressing Space sets off the run, and a short tutorial shows the arrow keys over the first few seconds. Stars pop up as you ride, and a crash ends the run straight away. The results screen then lists your score, your best, the meters you covered and the gifts you collected. The menu also has a settings button, a statistics button, a player name and a shop. It suits anyone who likes the same three controls in a different style.

Tips from our play-testing
- Click inside the game before using the keys, so that it receives your key presses.
- Press Space on the menu screen to start, as the game tells you. The tutorial then appears while the sled is already moving, so keep your eyes on the road behind it.
- Score and meters are counted separately: one of our test runs covered 18 meters and scored 2, so check both when comparing runs.
- Holding a steering key for more than half a second ended our test runs within seconds. Try short taps to stay near the middle of the road.
The game's own on-screen controls take priority. Touch support can differ between builds.
