What this site hosts

We don't host game files. Each game loads in a frame from the licensed provider that distributes it to websites, so the game itself, its in-game ads and its branding are served from the provider's servers. What we host is our own text, our own artwork, the site's code and comments written by visitors.

If your concern is about a game itself, the provider that distributes it can usually act fastest, and we'll also switch off the player on our side once we've received a valid notice.

What a notice should include

To act on a copyright notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we need:

1. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine),
2. a description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed,
3. the address of the page on this site and what on that page you want removed,
4. your name, postal address, phone number and email address,
5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law,
6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

For trademark concerns or rights in other countries, send the same kind of details and explain the rights you hold.

Sending a notice

Use the form on this page. We reply to the email address you provide. While we look into a notice, we usually take the material down first.

Counter-notices

If we removed something you wrote and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with your name, contact details, the removed material and its former address, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We'll forward it to the person who sent the original notice.

Repeat infringement

Comments that infringe someone's rights are removed, and we stop approving comments from people who repeatedly post infringing material.
